Lafarge Concrete (M) Sdn Bhd unveiled its latest concrete innovation, Artevia.

The company said in a statement that the new decorative integrated coloured concrete was created in response to the growing demand for high quality decorative finishes.

"Artevia takes concrete beyond the historical standard grey, setting a new trend in modern design," it said.

Produced in a range of colours and tones, Artevia redefines the traditional role of concrete and extends its possibilities into the creative sphere.

It is designed for housing projects, custom-built homes, condominiums, apartments, town hardscapes, walkways, factories, warehouses, car parks and many others, as its versatility makes it suitable for internal and external applications.

Vice-president and general manager Ho Yoon Tee said Artevia could create striking visual effects as it was produced following Lafarge's high quality and standards, thus making it highly durable.

"Its permanent colours will last as long as the concrete itself," he said.
